I have always heard that chicken necks are a good choice for feeding your dog in addition to his regular food. I have heard that they do not contain bone and and that the cartilage is great source of calcium.

Anyway I would be very interested in hearing other opinions.

Thanks

salut Hi,

Thanks for you reply, I live in Canada the only problem these days is that at least in Ontario they changed the laws as to how the chickens are killed, in the old days the met inspector would inspect the chickens while they were still alive and this was it was easy to figure out what necks came from what chickens. these days they inspect the chickens after the necks have been severed. and on account of this all the necks are deemed bad and hard to get hold of. I have found a place in the Oshawa area where they do Halai foods, therefore being traditional the chickens are inspected prior to being slaughtered.

Anyway thanks so much for the time you have taken to answer my question.
